The Alliance is the natural next stage of ARDA’s development. ARDA began by complementing dancers’ existing training through education, industry experiences and performance opportunities. The Alliance will extend that pathway by supporting artists as they make the crucial transition from training into professional work. Through a new performance company, outstanding commercial, contemporary and street dancers will collaborate with respected creatives to develop original, high-impact productions. They will receive regular professional training, rehearsal experience, performance footage and opportunities to build their industry connections and visibility. This is not a separate project from ARDA’s existing work; it completes the journey we have already created. Our development programmes prepare artists for the industry, while The Alliance will give them a platform on which to apply that preparation, establish themselves as professionals and help shape ambitious new work. Ultimately, The Alliance brings ARDA’s full name—Artist Readiness and Development Alliance—to life: where developed individual artists become a part of a professional industry Alliance.

Unlike the pre professional sectors or ARDA, Dancers do not currently pay for any rehearsals or to be a member of ‘The Alliance’ - this new sector of ARDA is ran for free, by myself - ARDA’S founder and director, Amber Rose. I have already built ARDA from the ground up, and I am completely committed to its future. I will give my time, energy, creativity and determination to making The Alliance successful—not only for myself, but for every artist who trusts me with their development. I will continue working, learning and investing everything I can until this vision becomes a lasting, internationally recognised company..

One of the biggest challenges dancers face when entering the professional industry is losing access to the affordable training, facilities and support available during education. This often happens at the point when maintaining their skills and creating professional materials becomes most important. The Alliance will address this by offering free or heavily discounted training, affordable access to ARDA’s studio for filming showreels and self-tapes, and regular creative development without costly membership fees. Rehearsals will also be planned around each dancer’s work, auditions and personal commitments. This flexible approach will allow performers to pursue paid opportunities while continuing to train, create and develop within a supportive professional company.

Because even as a professional there is still so much room for growth and the opportunity, motivation and training should never stop!
